There's a new bee guy in town

hey there:
my name is rob and my boy tastybit told me to get my bee word out there i should be rockin' the vox. i'm an artist that uses bees in my work, i teach beekeeping, but most importantly i am a sustainable beekeeper that strongly belives that genetics are a major part of the solution to the honeybee losses that we are currently experiencing.
                                               

                                            

                        

   

i'm here to keep you all up to speed on what's happening in my beekeeping community. we're doing our best to pop a cap in the varroa mite and work with our own local survivor stock to propagate stronger, more resistant feral and managed colonies around napa valley.

like i said earlier, tastybit is going to help me put this blog together so be assured things will be exciting and most definitely on the beekeeping edge. im in good hands. inthemeantime, check out some of my other natural history related work:
